Cambridge Who's Who names Victoria Conforti Professional of the Year in Millinery, Fashion Design and Retail
Toms River, NJ…February 13, 2007–Victoria Conforti, designer of Victoria's Designs has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Millinery, Fashion Design and Retail. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee hand picks these special Who's Who honorees based on accomplishments, academic achievement, leadership, and service.
Conforti, an accomplished fashion designer, has been working under the label Victoria Conforti Originals for the past 40 years. She specializes in designing original custom ladies’ dress hats and accessories for the general public and Red Hat Society members. Conforti is known for her award-winning original hat designs and has shown them at many hat fashion shows in New Jersey and the surrounding states on the east coast. In addition to her role as a fashion designer, Conforti is also an accomplished florist, landscape designer, millinery designer and cosmetologist.
Conforti is Queen Mum for the local chapter of the Red Hat Society and speaks publicly at Red Hat functions and conventions. She formerly wrote a column on interior design for a local paper and was a trustee for a local first aid department for five years.
