Cambridge Who's Who names Charles Floyd Johnson Professional of the Year

Charles Floyd Johnson named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Production and Distribution of Television Programming

Los Angeles, CA …April 24, 2007– Charles Floyd Johnson, Co-Executive Producer of CBS/Paramount Television has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in production and distribution of television programming. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee hand picks these special Who's Who honorees based on accomplishments, academic achievement, leadership, and service.

Johnson has worked as a writer and producer in a wide variety of television programs, including The Rockford Files and Magnum, P.I. His career has also included acting roles in such television programs as JAG and NCIS. As a co-executive producer, Johnson’s areas of expertise include overseeing the creation of television shows, daily and post production, budgeting, casting, and looping. Johnson started out as a production coordinator in 1971 and has steadily climbed the ladder to his current position.

Johnson received his JD from Howard University Law School in 1970. He was active in the civil rights movement and was involved in John F. Kennedy's presidential campaign. He has been published in the Howard Law Journal and received an Army Commendation Medal for his work as a defense counsel for AWOL soldiers during the Vietnam War. He is a member of Screen Actors Guild, and Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
