Sue Clark named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Book Marketing
Lincoln, CA …April 20, 2007– Sue J. Clark, head of SJ Clark Literary Agency has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in book marketing. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee hand picks these special Who's Who honorees based on accomplishments, academic achievement, leadership, and service.
Clark, a skillful literary agent and editor, has been representing poetry, fiction and non-fiction writers for over 30 years. She also has more than 25 years of experience as a writing instructor. Over the years, Burke has headed workshops on writing and she speaks publicly on the subject of writing on a regional level. Most recently, Clark ghostwrote Barbara Birchim’s book, Is Anybody Listening? A True Story about the POW/MIAs in the Vietnam War (Authorhouse, 2005). The book received the 2006 President’s Award, the highest honor from the Military Writers Society of America. Clark has also been writing a travel column since 2004. Clark received her associate of arts degree from Stephens College in 1949 and her bachelor of arts in speech from University of Washington in 1952.
