Cambridge Who's Who Member Dr. Shaun Dyler

Dr. Shaun V. Dyler, naturopathic physician and author of "Thriving in Mind, Body and Spirit - Awakening to God's Truths and Promises," has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of naturopathic healing and acupuncture. Sturm has an impressive background in law, with 17 years of experience. Sister Donna Marie Beck named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Music Education

Pittsburgh, PA …August 6, 2007– Sister Donna Marie Beck, Chairwoman of the Music Therapy Department of Duquesne University’s Mary Pappert School of Music has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in music education. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee hand picks these special Who's Who honorees based on accomplishments, academic achievement, leadership, and service.

Sister Donna Marie Beck taught music in catholic elementary and secondary schools for 22 years before joining Duquesne University’s Mary Pappert School of Music in 1982. Beck is an expert in music and spirituality, music therapy, and using the bonny method of guided imagery and music. The Mary Pappert School of Music provides musical education that connects the broad spectrum of historical and current practices; and in promoting the relationship between theory and practice, prepares professionals who will be the leaders in the musical culture of the 21st century.

Sister Donna Marie Beck received a Ph.D. in formative spirituality and music from Duquesne University Institute of Formation Science, a master of music education degree, and a bachelors degree in music education. She is a fellow of Association of Music and Imagery, and a member of American Music Therapy Association. She is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from American Music Therapy Association (2003), and a former AMTA executive board member and treasurer of the Mid-Atlantic Region of AMTA. Cynthia J. Sebring Named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Secondary School Education

Annandale, VA.…July 4, 2007–Cynthia J. Sebring, MA, a teacher at Annandale High School for Fairfax County Public Schools, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in secondary school education. While inclusion in Cambridge Whos Who Registry is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee hand picks these special Who's Who honorees based on their accomplishments, academic achievement, leadership and service.

Sebring joined Annandale High School in August 2006 and currently teaches three levels of English. In previous years she conducted SAT preparatory courses and sponsored the film, German and Bible clubs. She has 21 years of experience in the education industry and previously taught five levels of German to high school students.

Sebring turned down seven offers before joining Annandale because, as she explains, “I heard great things about the students and faculty.”

She has extensive consulting and editing skills and translated press releases from German to English for The Kennedy Center. Sebring is also credited with hiring Broadway actors Rich Swingle (an internationally known performer of one-man shows) and Bruce Kuhn (Les Misérables, Chess and Gospel of Luke). to perform for the English and Drama departments at the schools where she has taught. Annandale High School is committed to developing young minds in preparation for higher learning and success in future endeavors in the business world.

Sebring is pursuing her Masters degree in theology at the Notre Dame Graduate School of Christendom College. She earned a Masters degree in English from George Mason University in 1987 and a Bachelor of Arts in German and English from George Mason University in 1981. She received the Congressional Youth Leadership Council Award 1999 and 2000 and was a member of the German Textbook Adoption Committee. In 2003, she held the position of consulting-in-house reporter on behalf of the American Anglican Council at their general convention.
