Honeoye Falls, NY…April 2, 2007–Melissa Sweitzer, Professional Engineer/Chief Executive Officer of Best Ballroom Shoes, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Dance Competition Wear. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only one member in each discipline is named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee hand picks these special Who's Who honorees based on accomplishments, academic achievement, leadership and service.
Sweitzer, an accomplished ballroom dancer and the winner of a best solo routine award at an Arthur Murray Showcase Competition, is also a licensed professional engineer. The combination of these contrasting abilities was the perfect blend for the creation of a company that prides itself on quality-made dance shoes and competition wear. Best Ballroom Shoes allows clients to custom design their own dance shoes. The company offers more than 100 different colors and materials and more than 10 heel sizes and types. Made by top Italian designers, the custom dance shoes are expertly manufactured with support and comfort in mind.
